  Walloon Lake Inn is now (July, 2014) absolutely the best, most memorable restaurant in Northern Michigan. The new owners have redecorated the interior beautifully, complementing the beauty of the lake. They've also hired talented pianists who provide perfect piano bar entertainment every night of the week--providing a wonderful setting for an unforgettable dinner or relaxing after-dinner drink in the piano lounge area. Best of all is the GREAT chef--Daniel Flynn. When we learned that he had been on the staff at Tapawingo Restaurant--formerly the best restaurant in Northern Michigan before it closed--we knew why the food was so great, and the chef is so talented. This is a NOT-TO-MISS treat in Northern Michigan, and one of the very best in all of Michigan.

  Had a wonderful dinner there with my husband last night (9/23/16)
  The inn is beautiful and the view is stellar!
  They had a young man playing the piano and that just added to the wonderful evening.
  Our waitress Heather was absolutely great! Very friendly and warm, she made some suggestions in the food and they did not disappoint!!
  Would highly, highly recommend.
